 GKIDS recently announced the English-language voice cast for Lonely Castle in the Mirror, the latest feature from critically acclaimed director Keiichi Hara (Miss Hokusai, Colorful, The Wonderland), and featuring animation from the lauded A-1 Pictures. This film is adapted from the beloved novel of the same name by Mizuki Tsujimura, and GKIDS will be bringing it to select theaters nationwide for event showings on June 21 and 22.  Our friends over at Seven Seas Entertainment recently announced an all-new audiobook imprint called “Seven Seas Siren” that is set to launch June 2023, with English-language audiobooks of three popular Seven Seas light novel series. These series are Classroom of the Elite, Reborn as a Space Mercenary, and The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent. The first volumes of each of these series are available for preorder now with more details available below!

GKIDS & Toei Animation Host The First Slam Dunk North American Premiere at Anime Expo 20235/22/2023  GKIDS and Toei Animation announced today that The First Slam Dunk will host its North American premiere at this year’s Anime Expo in Los Angeles. Anime Expo is the largest celebration of Japanese pop culture in North America, having hosted numerous premieres of top Japanese anime films, with regular attendance of over 100,000 attendees annually.
